" The results seem to indicate that when the palm of the hand was brought close to the Cz point of a group of subjects sitting in a resting state with their eyes closed, and without being informed of the intervention, the PSD [power spectral density] during the last thirty seconds of the intervention decreased compared to the first thirty seconds prior to it. In the control group, the opposite occurred: instead of decreasing, the PSD increased. The results are statistically significant at a 95% confidence level." {Credits 1}
