EM Signal Processing in Bio-living System


It is an interesting work where they characterize possible electromagnetic resonant frequencies for multiple proteins, this work is listed in the table of "speculative ideas" because is not an experimental work but is based on computer simulations yet.

But it has interesting findings like the probable role of electromagnetic fields on the generation of cellular internal clocks, as electric and magnetic field intensity in proteins is dependent on the phase angle and they have show previously that clocking is the fundamental characteristic of the structural/geometrical resonance. And...

" The resonance spectrum shows the characteristic topological pattern in such a way, at some resonance peaks EM field concentrates along with components, and at some other resonance peaks, the EM field shows distractive nature. We speculated that the geometry of living organisms is responsible for such EM interactions."
