Prefrontal cortex modulates posterior alpha oscillations during top-down guided visual perception

The authors show that delta (2–4 Hz) activity in the prefrontal cortex track the current task context and modulated sensory processing, while delta in the frontal cortex and alpha (8–12 Hz) in the parietooccipital are functionally coupled and guide visual perception to integrate sensory evidence at each moment.
