Spontaneous photon emission A promising non-invasive diagnostic tool for breast cancer

Paper demonstrate that UPE emissions not only can distinguish tumor mice from the health ones but that:

" As breast cancer developed, the SPE from the healthy side of tumor mice also changed (as shown in Fig. 6: signal strength-L). Although the precise mechanism was not clear ..."

The paper fails in the assumption that biophotonic emissions are uniquely consequence of ROS precesses, that extreme was not proven, and there are some theories with experimental support that propose other origins, for example RRM propose that macromolecules uses electromagnetic energy in the optical range (i.e. biophotons) to recognize and interact between them [1] (More about biophoton sources also can be found in section [2]).
