A thesis were different bacterial strains are exposed to wi-fi signal near to a router. First experiment findings: Exposed Escherichia coli: Increased motility and antibiotic resistance, increased metabolic activity and biofilm formation ability. Exposed Klebsiella pneumoniae: Altered minimum inhibitory concentration, increased metabolic activity and biofilm formation ability. Exposed Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis: Increased metabolic activity and biofilm formation ability. Second experiment findings: Exposed Escherichia coli: Altered growth rate and gene expression; it has been revealed that 101 genes were differentially expressed at P ≤ 0.05. The up regulated genes were 52 while the down-regulated ones were 49. |
