" ... many pathological changes; the lungs had dilated bronchioles with corrugated walls and thickened epithelial lining, also, the lumen of the bronchioles contained degenerated epithelial cells, the alveolar septa had congested and thickened walls, areas of lymphocytic infiltration were observed around the bronchioles, the lung arteries of the irradiated animals were dilated and had corrugated walls. Some alveolar blood vessels were obliterated and some arteries had thickened walls with narrow lumen, haemorrhagic areas were observed." {Credits 1}
