Cerebellar histopathological and histochemical alterations induced by electromagnetic field exposure of mice


" results showed histopathological changes represented by dystrophic changes in Purkinje cells layer, degenerated and accumulated granular layer cells with edematous spaces which appeared congested with blood. In addition, there were some histochemical and morphometric changes in the cerebellar tissue indicated by alterations in collagen, polysaccharides, total protein, DNA and amyloid-β protein contents of mice exposed to RF-EMF from the mobile phone as well as after one month following the end of the exposure."
