Comparative Effect of Low-Intensity Laser Radiation in Green and Red Spectral Regions on Functional Characteristics of Sturgeon Sperm

Two main findings can be appointed here, first that depending on the energy dose, the laser radiation in red and green spectral regions can have both stimulatory and inhibitory effect on spermatozoa motility.

The second is that red light have more pronounced stimulatory effect than green light, this is contrary to the belief that shorter wavelengths are more effective because are more energetic and are supposedly more efficiently absorbed by chromophores in mitochondria that are supposed to be main target for the production of extra energy.

But, more probably water is the real extra energy generator here [1], because in cells water is in great proportion structured (and is sometime called "exclusion zone" water), this structured water have charge separation capacities and is extended by red and infrared light.
