" ... the kidney weight and volume was significantly reduced in the first month. Kidney weight alone was significantly increased in the fifth month. Glomerulus showed dilated capillaries and increased urinary space. Proximal convoluted tubule showed wider lumen with reduced cell size. Brush border interrupted at places and vacuolated cytoplasm and pyknotic nuclei. Wider lumen with decreased cell size and marked basal striations were found in the distal convoluted tubule." {Credits 1}
