Variations of Glutamate Concentration Within Synaptic Cleft in the Presence of Electromagnetic Fields: An Artificial Neural Networks Study

All the three evaluated factors (frequency, intensity and irradiated time) have some effects on the Glu release and reuptake (when time is fixed the value of frequency is the most important factor, when frequency is fixed intensity is the most important factor). Exposed glutamatergic systems tolerates all effects into ranges between -35 and +40 % rather than normal state, glutamate concentrations sense and response to these stresses and effort to keep the system in the normal state.
